Proof of Control

Researcher: Karan Kedarnath Doiphode

Finding: Domain / Subdomain Takeover

Status: CONFIRMED

Purpose: Authorized Security Testing and Responsible Disclosure

Security Impact

The affected hostname appears to reference an external resource that is no longer properly controlled by the organization.

If left unresolved, an unauthorized party may potentially claim the referenced resource and serve arbitrary content through a trusted organizational hostname.

Responsible Disclosure Notice

This page exists exclusively as a Proof of Concept for security validation and responsible disclosure.

No credentials, authentication tokens, personal information, payment information, cookies, or other sensitive data are collected or stored.

No phishing forms, redirects, malware, tracking mechanisms, or malicious scripts are deployed.

Recommended Remediation

Review the affected DNS configuration and remove any obsolete, dangling, or unclaimed records.

Any external hosting resource referenced by the DNS record should remain under organizational control or the corresponding DNS entry should be removed.
